The Fronius Reserva is the home battery from Fronius, a leading European inverter and battery brand. It is a DC-coupled battery that pairs with a Fronius GEN24 inverter to store your daytime solar for use after dark. The 15.8kWh Reserva uses five 3.15kWh LFP modules and runs on a three-phase Fronius Symo GEN24 Plus or Verto Plus inverter. It is backed by a 10-year warranty and is guaranteed to retain at least 70% of its usable capacity at 10 years.
The Reserva is modular: 3.15kWh LFP modules build up to 15.8kWh per tower, and up to four towers can be combined, installed side by side or back to back — around 38kWh on single phase or up to 63kWh on three phase.
Backup is available as an optional extra (from $2,290). Whole-home backup is available with a Fronius Verto Plus; otherwise the Reserva backs up your essential circuits.

Two government rebates can take thousands of dollars off a home battery in Perth, and you can claim both together. We make the whole process simple — here is how each rebate works.
1. WA Government rebate (Synergy)
Synergy customers can claim $130 per kWh of battery storage, capped at $1,300.
To qualify, you join a Virtual Power Plant (VPP): you let the grid use a small amount of your stored energy during peak demand, and you are paid for it. Synergy can do this up to 30 times a year, and you can opt out after two years.
A $10,000 no-interest loan, powered by Plenti, is also available through the WA scheme to spread the upfront cost.
2. Federal Government rebate
The federal Cheaper Home Batteries Program cuts roughly 30% off the upfront price of your battery. The rebate is largest on the first portion of capacity and steps down over time, so acting sooner means more savings. Use the slider to estimate yours.
