We recently installed this Solar and Battery system in Baldivis for our customer, Brad. The 6.6kW of All-Black QCells solar panels are connected to a 5kW Fronius Primo GEN24+ hybrid inverter and 5.1kWh BYD battery.
During the day, Brad maximises his savings by load shifting. For example, the pool pump is timed to run during the day, and the dishwashing machine is used in the morning.
At night, the 5.1kWh BYD battery provides enough energy to power Brad’s house past 9pm, after which cheap Off-Peak grid power can be used. Should Brad decide to expand his battery capacity, more BYD battery modules can be added.
This solar installation in Baldivis will produce an average of 27 units per day.
