At the beginning of Spring, we installed a Solar and Battery system for our customer, Tony, on his new home in Mount Claremont. The 13.2kW of Canadian Solar panels are connected to a 10kW Sungrow Hybrid inverter and 12.8kWh Sungrow battery.
Usually we would look at past electricity usage data to make a battery size recommendation. However, being a new build, this was not possible. As a sensible approach, Tony chose a medium-size 12.8kWh Sungrow SBR battery. If need be, he can easily expand this battery stack up to 25.6kWh.

Today we checked in on Tony to see how the system has been performing. Over the past 90 days, this Solar & Battery system has delivered $817 in savings! Meanwhile grid power usage is only 4kWh per day.
