We recently installed a Solar and Battery system in Roleystone for our customer, Lee. The 16.4kW of SunPower solar panels are connected to a 15kW Sungrow Hybrid inverter and 16kWh Sungrow battery.
With 3 x MPPT’s available, this inverter allowed us to split the solar panels North, East & West for more solar power generation in the mornings & afternoon.
This Solar & Battery installation in Roleystone can produce an average of 65 kWh per day and will provide the home with solar power during the day, and battery power at night. Lee also now has black-out protection to keep his essential circuits powered in the event of a grid-outage.

Today we checked in on Lee’s system to calculate the savings so far. Over the last 6 months (Winter & Spring), this solar & battery system has delivered $1,711 in savings!!!
