The SigEnergy SigenStor 18kWh can save up to $5 a day, $310 per Synergy bill, which equals savings up to $1,900 per year.

The SigEnergy SigenStor is the flagship 5-in-1 home battery from SigEnergy: a solar inverter, battery, DC EV charging, backup and energy management combined in one modular system. The 18kWh SigenStor uses two 9kWh LFP battery modules on a Sigen Energy Controller. It includes built-in DC EV charging, an IP66 outdoor rating, and a 10-year warranty.
SigenStor is modular and scales from 9kWh to 54kWh by adding 9kWh modules (one to six modules per tower). Other popular sizes are 9kWh, 27kWh, 36kWh, 45kWh and 54kWh.
Backup is available as an optional extra (from $2,690 on single phase or $2,990 on three phase) and adds blackout protection through the Sigen Energy Gateway, keeping your home powered during an outage. SigenStor delivers up to 200% peak output in off-grid mode for strong start-up power.
Two government rebates can take thousands of dollars off a home battery in Perth, and you can claim both together. We make the whole process simple — here is how each rebate works.
1. WA Government rebate (Synergy)
Synergy customers can claim $130 per kWh of battery storage, capped at $1,300.
To qualify, you join a Virtual Power Plant (VPP): you let the grid use a small amount of your stored energy during peak demand, and you are paid for it. Synergy can do this up to 30 times a year, and you can opt out after two years.
A $10,000 no-interest loan, powered by Plenti, is also available through the WA scheme to spread the upfront cost.
2. Federal Government rebate
The federal Cheaper Home Batteries Program cuts roughly 30% off the upfront price of your battery. The rebate is largest on the first portion of capacity and steps down over time, so acting sooner means more savings. Use the slider to estimate yours.

How to judge a battery warranty
When you compare, look beyond the headline number at total throughput (the kWh guaranteed over its life), output retention (premium batteries hold around 70 to 80% of capacity at 10 years), and how cycles are counted.
