Real prices for our three most popular SigEnergy setups — after every rebate, fully installed. Move the sliders to see what you could save and how fast it pays for itself.
Prices are fully installed for a single-storey home with a tin (Colorbond) roof and include the WA & federal battery rebates plus solar STCs (inc GST). Tile roofs and double-storey installs may add cost. Savings are an estimate for a north-facing Perth roof on the Synergy Home Plan (A1), based on using your solar during the day and your battery at night —. Your exact price and savings are confirmed in your quote.
Two government rebates can take thousands of dollars off a SigEnergy battery in Perth, and you can claim both together. We make the whole process simple — here is how each rebate works.
1. WA Government rebate (Synergy)
Synergy customers can claim $130 per kWh of battery storage, capped at $1,300.
To qualify, you join a Virtual Power Plant (VPP): you let the grid use a small amount of your stored energy during peak demand, and you are paid for it. Synergy can do this up to 30 times a year (up to six hours each time), and you can opt out after two years.
2. Federal Government rebate
The federal Cheaper Home Batteries Program cuts roughly 30% off the upfront price of your battery. The rebate is largest on the first portion of capacity and gets smaller as the battery grows. It also steps down every six months, so acting sooner means more savings. Use the slider to estimate yours.
As Perth’s #1-rated solar and battery team, we handle the rebate paperwork for you and make sure you claim every dollar you are entitled to.
Request Your QuoteEstimate only, based on a $38 STC price and May–Dec 2026 rates. Rebate amounts and rules can change, and your final savings depend on your home and system. We confirm the latest figures before you buy. Your battery must be installed after 1 July 2025 and meet the WA Residential Battery Scheme and Cheaper Home Batteries Program rules. Blackout Protection
Switches to backup mode in just 5 milliseconds when the grid goes down — fast enough that most appliances won't even notice the interruption. Restores instantly when grid returns.

Integrated EV Charging
The optional DC charger module supports V2X bidirectional charging — meaning your EV can power your home during blackouts. DC fast charge at 12.5kW or 25kW. AC charging at 7–22kW.

AI Powered Monitoring
The mySigen app polls the battery every 10 seconds and shows data down to individual cell voltages and temperatures. AI chat interface lets you control the system conversationally.

Outdoor Rated for Perth
IP66 weatherproof rating and an operating range of -20°C to 55°C makes the SigEnergy battery well suited to Perth's hot summers and outdoor installation locations.

In Perth, when you use power matters as much as how much. A SigEnergy battery stores cheap solar energy and runs your home when grid power is most expensive. Here is how it works with the main Synergy plans.
Home Plan A1
One flat rate, all day.
Midday Saver
Time-of-use rates.
- 8.62c super off-peak (9am-3pm)
- 23.69c off-peak (9pm-9am)
- 53.84c peak (3pm-9pm)
EV Add-On
Adds a cheap overnight window for charging.
- 19.38c EV window (11pm-6am)
- 8.62c super off-peak (9am-3pm)
- 23.69c off-peak (6am-9am, 9pm-11pm)
- 53.84c peak (3pm-9pm)
What a kWh costs across the day
Tap a plan to see its price through the day.
A1 (most homes) is one flat rate all day. On a time-of-use plan like Midday Saver, a battery charges when power is cheap and runs your home through the 53.84c evening peak.
Storing beats selling
Exporting pays cents. Using your own stored power saves dollars — one of the biggest reasons a battery pays for itself. On a time-of-use plan like Midday Saver it is even higher, up to 53.84c at peak.
Why? Synergy’s feed-in scheme (DEBS) pays just 2c for exported solar (10c in the 3–9pm peak), on the first 50 units a day — so using your own power is worth far more than selling it.
Important: you only receive the DEBS feed-in if your inverter is 5kW or less. Above that, no feed-in at all — which is exactly when a battery matters most.
The bottom line: a SigEnergy battery means you buy less power from the grid and rely less on tiny feed-in rates — and we model your exact numbers for you.

Frequently Asked Questions
The SigEnergy battery is a modular, all-in-one home energy storage system that integrates a solar hybrid inverter, LFP battery pack, power conversion system (PCS), an optional DC EV charger with V2X bidirectional charging, and an AI-powered energy management system into a single stackable unit. It was introduced to the Australian market in 2023 by SigEnergy — a company founded by Tony Xu, former president of Huawei’s FusionSolar division.
Up to six 9kWh modules can be stacked vertically in a single SigEnergy battery unit, reaching up to 54kWh in one stack. Additional parallel capacity can also be added beyond that. This makes the SigEnergy battery one of the most expandable residential battery systems available in Australia.
Yes the SigEnergy battery qualifies for both the Federal and WA rebates.
Yes. The SigEnergy battery has an IP66 weatherproof rating and an operating temperature range of -20°C to 55°C, making it well-suited to Perth’s hot summers. It can be installed outdoors in most locations. Our team will assess your property and recommend the best mounting position for airflow and sun exposure.
Yes — and it goes further than most systems. The optional DC EV charger module supports V2X (vehicle-to-everything) bidirectional charging, meaning your compatible EV can not only charge from solar, but can also discharge power back into your home during a blackout or peak tariff period. DC fast charging is available at 12.5kW or 25kW. AC charging via a separate Sigen EV AC Charger supports 7kW, 11kW and 22kW (three-phase).
