Brabham Solar Solutions
The global leader with the highest solar per capita is Australia. One in three Australian homes now have solar.
Solar in Brabham, The suburb of Brabham was created in May 2011. It is named in honour of Sir Jack Brabham, an Australian motor racing legend. It is bordered by Park Street in the north, Murray Street in the east, Harrow Street
in the south and Lord Street in the west. It is part of the Urban Growth Corridor. It was formally part of the suburb of Henley Brook. Brabham also includes the Caversham Motor Racing Circuit reserve
where Sir Jack Brabham raced in the early days of his motor racing career. The airfield was constructed by the US military to be used as a base for bomber aircraft during the later stages of World War II.
Following the war, the strip was no longer required for aircraft and so it was converted into a racing track, hosting the Australian Grand Prix twice: once in 1957 and once in 1962. In 1969,
all WA circuit racing was moved to the newly opened Wanneroo Park Raceway and so the federal government developed the facility into a radio communications hub/
A simple solar system can save Brabham homeowners up to 70% of their electric costs, and when paired with a solar battery can eliminate bills entirely.
The “Duck Curve” Graph
In the graph it demonstrates a “Duck Curve” which shows the extreme changes in grid demand that occurs throughout a day as a result of the rapid uptake of solar power.
Once the sun rises a noticeable dip in the grid power demand can be seen. When solar panels are used on businesses and Smart homes are able to generate their own electricity that will reduce the electricity draw on the grid. In fact, many solar owners generate excess solar power and export it to the grid, further reducing the need for dirty-coal-power to be generated.
Solar for Brabham
With solar power, you don’t need to turn it on in the morning or off at night – the system will do this automatically for you. The system will switch between solar power and the electricity grid automatically, as your solar system will determine when is best to do so.
This based on the amount of energy being produced and consumed in your home. A quality solar system requires very little ongoing maintenance, that means you’ll hardly know it’s there, except for the money you will be saving!Your solar inverter (usually installed in your garage or in an easily accessible spot), can provide you with a lot of information such as the amount of electricity being produced at any particular time, how much it has generated that day or in total since it was installed. Most quality inverters feature Wi-Fi connectivity and include easy online monitoring.
Protecting yourself from rising energy prices
Generate years of free electricity from the sun with a new solar system. When your able to generate your own electricity it can substantially reduce or even eliminate your power bill.
Doing your bit for the environment
Electricty generated and consumed by your own solar system means that you’ll draw a lot less electricity from the grid. This means less coal or gas is burnt at a power station reducing the use of the biggest source of carbon pollution worldwide.
Installing a solar system is the single most important step you can take towards reducing your carbon footprint.Brabham Local Government Rebates & Incentives
The Federal Government’s STC rebate Scheme provides thousands of dollars towards the cost of purchasing and installing your solar system. In addition, there is state-based Feed-In Tariff Schemes that pay you for any excess electricity you generate and feedback into the electricity grid.
