The federal Cheaper Home Batteries Program makes this calculation clearer. The rebate is tiered by battery capacity: approximately $258 per kWh for the first 14 kWh, stepping down to around $155 per kWh for 14 to 28 kWh, and approximately $39 per kWh for 28 to 50 kWh. It applies to up to 50 kWh of storage. Eligible Synergy customers can also access an additional $1,300 state rebate through the WA Residential Battery Scheme, capped at 10 kWh of usable capacity. Mid-to-premium LFP batteries that are CEC-approved and on Synergy’s Supported Solutions List attract both rebates. Budget batteries that are not CEC-listed are not eligible for either program. This means the effective cost gap between a quality battery and a budget alternative is often narrower than the sticker price suggests, once you factor in the full rebate stack.

Not necessarily. Our range spans a range of price points. The difference is that every option has been selected for strong long-term performance and support, regardless of where it sits on price. Often, the better efficiency and capacity retention of a mid-to-premium battery means it delivers more usable energy over its lifetime than a lower-cost alternative.
How does CEC approval affect my rebate?
Most state and federal battery rebates require the battery to be on the Clean Energy Council’s Approved Products list at the time of installation. All the batteries we install are CEC approved, so you get the full benefit of current rebates as part of your quote.
What does a capacity retention guarantee mean for me?
