We recently installed a Solar and Battery system in West Perth for our customer, Marcelo. The 9kW of Jinko solar panels are connected to a 5kW Huawei inverter* with a 10kWh Huawei battery* which can be expanded up to 30kWh if needed.

With 5kW max AC power output for the home + 5kW max DC power output to charge the battery, the 5kW Huawei / iStore Hybrid inverter allows up to 250% oversizing. Perfect for maximising solar production and achieving 100% battery charge, even on cloudy days.
In Marcelo’s case, 9kW of panels suited his needs and budget, and will produce an average of 33 units per day (more in Summer, less in Winter). You can see on the graph below, even on a day with very high power usage, the extra DC power output allowed the battery to fully charge and power Marcelo’s home throughout the night.
