We recently installed a Solar and Battery system in Como for our customer, John. The 6.6kW of QCells panels are connected to a 5kW Sungrow Hybrid inverter. The modular 12.8kWh Sungrow battery can be scaled up to 25.6kWh if need be.
With limited roof space available, Tigo Power Optimisers were used to allow the solar panels to be split North, East & West.
This solar installation in Como will produce an average of 26 units per day. Some of that solar energy will be used by the house during the day, with excess solar stored in the battery to be used later in the evening.
In the event of a grid-outage, the system will switch to Backup Mode in under 20-milliseconds to provide emergency backup power to essential circuits.
