Who installs your solar system?
One of the first questions customers ask us is who will be on their roof. It is the right question: a solar and battery system is only as good as the work that goes into it.
Every Positive Energy system is installed by accredited electrical contractors we choose and manage, and signed off to Positive Energy’s completion standards. We work with a small group of experienced installers who fit our systems week in, week out, so the team on your roof knows our products and our standard.
What makes a quality installation
Four things decide the quality of the work on your roof:
- Accreditation. The right qualifications to design and install solar and batteries.
- Experience with the products. A team that fits the same battery every week knows its rules and its quirks.
- A standard that is checked. A clear completion standard, and a company that checks every job against it.
- Support for years to come. The installation takes a day. The system runs for many years.
How we work with our installers
We choose our installers for the quality of their work and keep the ones who meet our standard. We design each system, our accredited installers fit it, and every job is signed off to Positive Energy’s completion standards before we call it finished.
Your system also carries our 10-year installation workmanship warranty, so if anything about the installation needs attention, we put it right.
Looking after you after the installation
This is where Positive Energy stands apart. Our own in-house service manager and engineers handle any issue directly. Every system also comes with Positive Energy Protection, Powered by Omnidian: 24/7 monitoring, first-line support and field-service technicians, with a local team in Perth. We stay with you for the life of your system.
How to judge any solar company’s work
Two simple checks tell you a great deal:
- Read the reviews, starting with the lowest ratings. Look for praise of the workmanship and the team, and for how the company responded when something needed fixing.
- Look at real installations. A company proud of its work shows its own photos of real jobs, and neat, careful work is easy to recognise.
