We recently upgraded & expanded an existing SolarEdge system in Joondalup for our customer, Robert.
Back in 2018, Robert had his original system installed which comprised of a SolarEdge inverter and 5.6kW of solar panels. However, Robert wasn’t impressed by the workmanship of the original solar company. And his electricity bills were still over $500.
So, when he heard that SolarEdge was offering a free inverter upgrade with the purchase of a SolarEdge Battery, he contacted Positive Energy instead. This time around, Robert is super pleased with how neat his new inverter & battery is installed.
While we were there, we also expanded the system with 5.74kW of all-black SunPower Performance panels. This was made easy thanks to SolarEdge Power Optimisers which prevent losses from panel mismatch within a system.
